Working closely with the Systems Administrator, Cyber Security Officer and wider technology teams, the role also contributes to strengthening Fenwick’s cyber security posture. This includes supporting endpoint security through Microsoft Intune and Defender, assisting with vulnerability remediation, investigating infrastructure and security alerts, and contributing to security hardening and governance across the platform.

Alongside day-to-day operational support, the role supports ongoing infrastructure improvements and modernisation initiatives. This provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across cloud infrastructure, security tooling and emerging technologies, while collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners to continuously improve the organisation’s infrastructure and security capabilities.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) device management platforms.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and enterprise network environments including Meraki-based LAN and WiFi platforms.
  • Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments combining Azure cloud services with on-premise systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft security tooling including Microsoft Defender and security monitoring platforms.
