We have fantastic opportunities to work as a Goods Movement Team Leader in our Store Logistics team within Fenwick Kingston. 

 

About the role

As a Goods Movement Team Leader you will be key in ensuring stock is available on the floor for our customers. The role has varied responsibilities including unloading/loading stock, looking after a team along with the movement of stock and other operational requirements of the store such as general upkeep, floor fixture moves etc.

 

.Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Store Logistics Manager to prioritise daily and weekly issues and plan ahead effectively to ensure deadlines and targets are achieved

  • Ensure that the Store Logistics Manager is kept fully informed regarding any issues that may arise and work with them to ensure their successful resolution.

  • Establish good relations with the Retail Teams, Suppliers, Couriers, I.T., Group Administration and Senior Management Team to ensure a pro-active approach providing a high level of customer service

  • Help facilitate the secure, accurate and smooth movement of stock in and out of the business

  • Interact with the available systems to resolve queries and issues giving the relevant feedback to the required level of personnel

  • Through resolution of queries identify training requirements and feed back to line manager

  • Undertake training and follow up as appropriate

  • Review training material to ensure it is accurate and updated as required

  • Unloading and loading stock

  • Delivering stock to departments

  • Collecting stock for deliveries

  • Communicate any issues that may arise to the Store Logistics Manager and work with them and the selling team to ensure their successful resolution.

  • Manage and co-ordinate the activities of the store based local delivery driver (if applicable)

  • Manage time between the relevant support areas
