We have an exciting opportunity for a warehouse colleague to support our Killingworth Distribution Centre during the busiest time of the year as a Customer Delivery Driver.

About the role

 

As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will provide outstanding service to every customer by aiding in the delivery and, if required, assembling of large goods into customers’ homes.

 

You will be a professional and courteous road user whilst ensuring legal compliance and driving and working time directive regulations.

 

This role will be to cover the busiest period of the year within the Home Deliver team, and to complete extra deliveries when required. The successful candidate will also be required to perform warehouse based tasks when not carrying out driving duties.

  • £12.92 per hour
  • 40 Hours – 5 x 8-hour shifts per week
  • 5 x 8am-5pm shifts per week

Please Note: In order for your application to be successful you must have proof of a clean, valid C1 License along with a valid Digital Tachograph Card and CPC Qualification

 

What we are looking for in a candidate…

  • You must have held a clean Category C (18t) License for 1 Year – Most deliveries are made using a 7.5t (CE+1 would be advantageous)
  • No more than 6 points, NO DR10’s No CD10’s, No IN10’s
  • Valid Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service
  • Good communication skills
